About this Opportunity:
The New England North West region is seeking a passionate and dedicated clinician to provide mental health services to older people.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults across the region.
The role provides services to communities in the North West, including Narrabri, Moree, Inverell, and surrounding smaller centres.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, consumer-focused and evidence-based mental health assessment, formulation, and treatment to improve outcomes for older adults and their families/carers.
- Offer supervision, consultation, and clinical leadership within the team.
- Deliver community-based interventions and consultations for older adults experiencing, or at risk of developing, mental health problems.
- Implement comprehensive assessment, intervention, case management, and care coordination.
- Contribute discipline-specific expertise and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across health and community sectors; provide consultation and intervention for Residential Aged Care Facilities.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision and ongoing professional development; engage with internal in-service programs and connect with colleagues for support.

Requirements:
- Recognised and accredited tertiary qualification and registration (or eligibility) with the relevant board via AHPRA, or eligibility for membership of the relevant association, in one of the following disciplines: social work, psychology, occupational therapy or nursing.
