Job Overview

The Maintenance Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting frontline maintenance execution across fixed plant operations.

This position acts as a technical mentor to trades personnel and ensures a high standard of workmanship is maintained across all tasks.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all site safety systems, statutory requirements, and company standards;
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to optimise plant availability;
  • Provide hands-on support during breakdowns to assist in rapid equipment recovery and reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR);
  • Execute or guide complex repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure safe and reliable operation;
  • Mentor and support less experienced trades personnel in maintenance standards and techniques;
  • Collaborate with engineers and planners to provide practical feedback on task improvements;
  • Ensure compliance with all site safety requirements, isolation procedures, and permit systems.
