About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Technical Writer to support the development of operational procedures for a major mining operation in the Southwest Region of WA.
This is a site-based role on a 4/3 roster, working Monday to Thursday in a 40-hour week, with full camp accommodation provided. You'll work closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to develop high-quality, fit-for-purpose documentation. Experience in mining, heavy industry, or manufacturing is essential.

Write and revise operational procedures across plant and equipment

Liaise with SMEs, operators, and supervisors to ensure accuracy and clarity

Translate technical concepts into readable, usable documentation

Ensure procedures meet site standards, safety guidelines, and compliance frameworks

Participate in document reviews, revisions, and version control

Support project managers and process owners with ad hoc documentation tasks
What we're looking for: About you…

Proven experience as a technical writer in mining, manufacturing, or heavy industry

Strong communication and documentation skills

Ability to work onsite with multidisciplinary teams

Highly organised with attention to detail

Familiarity with safety systems and compliance in operational environments
