Job Title: Team Scheduler

Farris Care Services is a close-knit team committed to making a positive impact. As a Roster Manager / Service Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our participants receive the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Participant Scheduling and Coordination: Create, maintain, and update staff rosters for comprehensive shift coverage. Assign staff based on availability, skills, and preferences. Ensure equitable distribution of shifts and workload among team members.
  • Performance Management and Support: Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback. Monitor staff attendance, manage leave requests, and maintain accurate records. Identify areas for process improvement in rostering and staff management.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to labour laws, employment regulations, and industry standards. Maintain accurate and updated participant records according to NDIS policies. Contribute to the development and execution of Farris Care Services' service model.
  • Communication and Relationship Building: Communicate effectively with staff regarding shifts, availability, and scheduling matters. Collaborate with HR, operations, and support coordinators for effective communication. Cultivate positive relationships with NDIS participants, families, and stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving and Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement in rostering and implement initiatives. Resolve scheduling conflicts, address staffing issues, and find solutions for an effective roster.

Requirements:

Qualifications/Requirements include:

  • Current WWCC, Criminal Record Check, NDIS Screening Check, and First Aid Certificate.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Sciences, or Humanities.
  • Ability to manage teams and lead by example.
  • Proficient computer skills, including a strong understanding of Microsoft Suite.
  • Approval from the Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme (DWES) clearance.

Experience:

Scheduling or Rostering Experience: Previous experience in creating and managing staff schedules.

Familiarity with Scheduling Software: Proficiency in using scheduling software or tools.

Customer Service Exposure: Exposure to customer service aspects.
