Team Leader for Scheduling and Rostering available to work across the Northern region.
**The role**
The Team Leader is responsible for leading and managing a team of Scheduling and Rostering Coordinators at Bolton Clarke for At Home Support employees. The Team Leader will work closely with the Management and other key stakeholders to ensure the Scheduling and Rostering Team work in a flexible and collaborative manner to deliver positive client centred outcomes.
- Maintaining an operational structure that allows the team to achieve performance targets as efficiently as possible with a view achieve optimisation
- Monitoring productivity and performance measures and taking action to address performance gaps against agreed KPIs
- Empowering staff to work within set boundaries and delegating to direct reports where appropriate
- Encouraging staff to be accountable for their decisions and providing guidance on complex scheduling/rostering issues
- Ensuring that clients' visits are aligned with the relevant funding stream
- Ensuring that changes to clients' schedules are communicated in a timely manner and key stakeholders are consulted on possible solutions
- Identifying gaps and providing solutions to scheduling issues in collaboration with Clinical Team Managers Recruit and onboard new team members and provide appropriate orientation to minimise any downtime
- Monitoring staffing levels and proactively engage with the Clinical Team Managers to ensure levels are adequate and meet service requirements
**What do we need from you?**
- Certificate IV in Leadership/Management or Proven experience in a similar role along with leadership exposure
- Ability to make decisions in time-sensitive situations that arise quickly and crucial to service delivery
- Ability to remain focused with strong instincts to steer you in the right direction to success
- Ability to think quickly and in an innovative manner in developing and executing solutions, ideas and goals
- Ability to always stay focused, upbeat and calm, even when things are their most complex or frustrating
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Demonstrated understanding of customer expectations and needs from a scheduling/rostering perspective
- Ability to build trust and sound professional relationship that encourages a healthy, straightforward working environment devoid of uncertainty and confusion
