The Field Service Plant Mechanic plays a pivotal role in our team by providing comprehensive on-site support for a diverse range of CAT equipment across various industries.
This is a full-time permanent position based in Port Hedland, where you will work closely with the Field Service Supervisor and other team members to diagnose faults and carry out repairs, maintenance, and servicing of mining and marine machinery.
As an experienced Plant Mechanic, you should hold an Australian Heavy Mobile Plant Trade Certificate with post-trade experience in Field Service. The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills using CAT SIS & CAT ET, as well as the ability to work under pressure in remote environments both independently and in teams.
The successful applicant will be required to maintain a safe work environment, help customers achieve machine availability and reliability KPIs, and implement Product Improvement Plans and Support Programs.
