Heavy Plant Mechanic

The role of a Heavy Plant Mechanic involves providing on-site support for heavy mobile plant machinery across various industries. This comprehensive service includes repairing, maintaining and servicing heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and rectify faults on heavy mobile plant machinery at customer sites
- Carry out routine maintenance, repairs and servicing to extend the lifespan of equipment
- Implement product improvement plans to enhance machine availability and reliability
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A recognized trade certificate in heavy mobile plant mechanics with post-trade experience
- A valid driver's license and logistics and risk management certification
- Refrigerant handling license and working at heights certifications
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills using industry-standard tools and software
