Plant Operations Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Plant Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the processing plant, communicating with colleagues throughout shifts, and reporting on plant updates or any issues.
This permanent full-time position is based at our Pilgangoora operation, which operates on a 8:6/7:7 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO in the Pilbara region.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance Management: Identify and communicate items of the plant that require preventative maintenance or repair.
- Process Improvements: Identify and provide recommendations on process enhancements.
- Plant Monitoring: Monitor and control areas of the processing plant, including crushing circuit, HPGR (high pressure grinding), screening, heavy media separation, milling, gravity, flotation, filtration, reagents, and tailings treatment.
A key aspect of this role is working collaboratively with other departments to optimize plant performance and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a strong understanding of plant operations.
