
Construction Project Contract Administrator

This role involves overseeing the management of contracts, procurement, and costs across various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Draft, review, and administer subcontracts, purchase orders, and consultant agreements to ensure compliance with project objectives.
- Lead procurement activities including issuing RFQs, analyzing tenders, and conducting negotiations to secure the best value for the project.
- Monitor and update budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and cash flow statements to inform decision-making and optimize resource allocation.
- Handle contract administration including variations, progress claims, EOTs, and other related correspondence to mitigate risks and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with site and project teams to ensure timely contract execution and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to support project coordination and minimize disruptions.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and provide support for final project handover and close-out procedures.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Contract Administration role within the construction sector
- Strong understanding of construction methodology, contract administration, and cost management principles
- High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset to drive results in a fast-paced project environment
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills to build trust and rapport with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing project circumstances
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with industry tools such as Procore or Cheops
