
Contract Administrator

Responsibilities:
1. Prepare, negotiate, review, and manage various types of contracts, including head contracts, subcontracts, supply and purchasing contracts, and other contractual agreements.
2. Monitor contract compliance to ensure all parties meet their contractual obligations.
3. Identify and analyse potential risks in contracts, providing recommendations to mitigate issues.
4. Liaise and coordinate with managers, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders regarding contractual matters.
5. Administer variations, claims, and dispute resolutions in a timely and accurate manner.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation, including payment schedules, progress claims, correspondence, and records.
7. Support project teams to ensure contracts align with project timelines, budgets, and legal requirements.
8. Continuously improve contract management processes, ensuring efficiency, risk mitigation, and adherence to company and legal standards.
9. Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries for management to support decision-making related to contracts.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Contract Administrator.
2. Experience in the construction industry is required.
3. Australian work experience as a Contract Administrator, with familiarity of contract management processes and relevant regulations in the Australian construction industry.
4. Strong experience in managing head contracts, subcontractor agreements, procurement contracts, and other types of contracts.
5. Ability to analyse contract risks and provide effective solutions.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various project stakeholders.
7. Possess strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple contracts and project tasks simultaneously.
