Accounts Receivable Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage debtor accounts and perform day-to-day AR duties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end AR, including reclaims, customer reconciliations, and processing store credits.
- Handling daily banking tasks such as reconciling debtor accounts, credit card and travel invoices, fuel and Etag transactions, and supporting bank reconciliations.
- Processing product returns and store credits in line with company procedures, with regular follow-up with sales reps where needed.
- Supporting accounts payable functions, including raising POs, filing documentation, and assisting with expense and cost analysis.
- Providing general administrative support, such as ordering supplies and handling ad hoc duties as directed by management.
- Supervising and training a part-time team member, ensuring consistency and accuracy across tasks.
Requirements:
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience in AR, with a solid grasp of end-to-end AR processes.
- Confident working both independently and as part of a collaborative finance team.
- Strong ERP skills, with exposure to Microsoft Navision or Dynamics 365 Business Central a bonus.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when handling large volumes of transactions.
- Comfortable challenging existing processes and suggesting practical improvements.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships across internal teams and external customers.
