Parliamentary Educator Role

The role of the Parliamentary Educator is to create engaging educational activities for students, teachers, and others at the Education Centre and through videoconferences.

To achieve this, learning activities are designed using role-play techniques and other educational methods to help young Australians understand the work of the House of Representatives, the Senate, and their committees.

The successful candidate will contribute to developing resources, working collaboratively as a team member or leader to design, implement, and evaluate new and existing resources.

Additionally, they will provide support in developing and facilitating special education programs, often collaborating with schools, members of parliament, and other relevant organisations.

Tertiary qualifications or significant experience in education or communication are highly valued.
