Role Overview:
As a Talent Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent within the organization. This role is critical in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance, and driving business growth through effective talent management practices.
The key areas of responsibility include:
- Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment efforts to ensure effective staffing and develop strategies to improve talent retention.
- Talent Development: Conduct annual training needs analysis, develop training strategies, and oversee performance review processes.
- Reward & Recognition: Drive programs to enhance team member engagement and satisfaction.
- Industrial Relations: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, overseeing risk management, training, and accident reporting procedures.
- Leadership & Coaching: Mentor and coach managers on performance management, leadership, and people development.
- WHS & Safety: Oversee compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a talent management or HR role, ideally within the industry.
- Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and ability to align talent strategies with business objectives.
- In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and relevant industry standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
