Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team.

The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary team to develop and deliver individualised services to a paediatric case load focused on the needs of each customer and providing support across their activities of daily living.

You will assess the needs of the children/young people and develop therapeutic plans accordingly. This will involve providing written reports, including recommendations to colleagues, families and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing the needs of the children/young people and developing therapeutic plans
  • Providing written reports and recommendations
  • Working collaboratively with other NDIS providers, health services and Schools and/or child care centres
  • Participating in regular clinical supervision
  • Communicating directly with National Disability Insurance Agency and other relevant funding bodies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration through AHPRA
  • Knowledge of a range of developmental delays and disorders (desirable)
  • A positive attitude and passion for improving the lives of children and young people living with a disability
