Rehabilitation Consultant Role:

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop tailored rehabilitation plans that support a whole-person approach to rehabilitation
  • Complete assessments including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessment (ADLS)
  • Utilize lateral thinking and forward planning skills to identify potential return-to-work pathways in line with likely recovery milestones
  • Perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants using problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management
  • You will work closely with various stakeholders, including clients, their families, insurance companies, employers, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors
  • Present case information to various stakeholders providing credible recommendations/solutions to drive the desired goal

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA
  • Prior experience in occupational rehabilitation industry (minimum 12 months)
  • Sound knowledge of the South Australian Workers compensation and CTP systems and legislations
  • Full Australian working rights
  • RTW experience or certification desirable
  • Current driver's license and car required
