Rehabilitation Support Professional

Job Summary:

The Mental Health Directorate is seeking a Rehabilitation Support Professional to join their multidisciplinary team. This role will involve supporting consumers in their rehabilitation and recovery goals through direct support for day-to-day tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support consumers in their rehabilitation and recovery goals
  • Provide non-clinical and psychosocial rehabilitation support
  • Work collaboratively with clinical staff and other health professionals
  • Assist and support the development of residents' rehabilitation in partnership with their existing formal and informal networks

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require relevant qualifications in mental health (non-clinical) or an undergraduate health course. Additionally, effective communication skills, the ability to engage and communicate effectively with diverse individuals and communities, and a proven experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team are essential.
