Job Opportunity: Groups Reservations Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Groups Reservations Executive to join our team.

This role involves taking all group reservations calls, ensuring that all relevant information is obtained, and constantly monitoring all group reservations through liaison with clients and other Ambassadors.

  • Actioning all group reservations accurately and releasing group movement sheets to all Ambassadors in a timely manner.
  • Completing reports as required by the Hotel's management.
  • Ensuring all deposits are received prior to group check-in and all invoicing is complete in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing excellent customer service to all guests.
  • Liaising with clients and other Ambassadors to ensure seamless group reservations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all group reservations.

This role also requires being the first point of contact for all Group Reservation clients and ensuring open communication between the Hotel's Revenue, Sales, and Reservations teams.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum 12 months' experience in an administrative and/or supervisory role.
  • Highly organised and able to effectively prioritise tasks.
  • Prior knowledge of Opera.
  • A professional image at all times through personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to handle tasks carefully and correctly, being thorough and exact in details with a sense of urgency.
  • Versatility in responding to guest requests and situations.
  • The ability to remain calm and effective in high-volume work situations.
  • A good team player who contributes to and assists co-workers without being asked.
  • A commitment to undertaking growth and development within the Sofitel brand.
