Electrician Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our High Voltage (HV) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining one of Queensland's largest privately owned HV networks.

The key tasks include:

  • Routine maintenance of electrical equipment
  • Breakdown works, installation/replacement of electrical equipment within switchyards and substations
  • Problem diagnosis and predictive maintenance jobs
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An Electrical trade qualification with the ability to obtain a Queensland Electrical license
  • A current manual drivers' licence
  • A sound understanding of workplace Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S)
  • Experience in the HV and mining industry
