About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Learning Experience Designer to join our team at the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation. As a key member of our Learning and Development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging and effective digital learning experiences that meet the needs of our diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of strategic digital learning solutions that embed the qualities and practices required of ASIO's people to support a strong leadership culture.
  • Support the design, development, and facilitation of appropriate digital learning content and solutions, including e-learning, which support ASIO's Learning and Development Strategy.
  • Assist with project administration tasks.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Assistant Director, Learning Advisor Centre, as required.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and liaison skills and a collaborative style of working to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • A flexible, creative, and agile approach to learning and development in the digital age, with a passion for creating innovative, intuitive, and visually stunning user experiences.
  • A high level of self-motivation, enabling you to work independently, take ownership of your tasks and responsibilities, and maintain a strong work ethic and sense of accountability.
  • The capacity to adapt to changing priorities, technologies, and learning preferences, while maintaining a positive and flexible attitude.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of learning and development.
  • Demonstrated skills in human-centred design thinking, UX/UI principles, and design systems.
  • Demonstrated experience using, or willingness to learn, the suite of Articulate authoring software to design, create, and maintain learning programs is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Familiarity with Confluence and Totara Learning Management System (LMS) is highly desirable but not essential.
