Wood is recruiting for a Principal Piping Designer to join its Operations APAC West business in Darwin, Northern Territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the focal point Piping Designer on brownfields oil & gas projects.
  • Take responsibility for the design while reporting directly to the Piping Design Manager.
  • Work as part of the Wood core design team.
Requirements:
  • Prior senior designer level working experience in the Offshore LNG, Oil & Gas sectors within an EPCM engineering and maintenance project environment.
  • Onshore and offshore scope of work engagements with particular emphasis on Brownfields modifications.
  • Demonstrated Experience to drive design teams to deliver Quality design deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with good initiative and interpersonal skills.
  • Tertiary qualified in Engineering / Drafting.
  • Minimum of 15 years piping design experience in the oil and gas industry.
