We're seeking talented individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Drafters/Designers in our Northern Australia business. This is a rare opportunity to kick-start your drafting/design career with a diverse organisation, dedicated to the development of our people and their careers.

As a drafter/designer, you'll learn drafting and design skills across one of many industry sectors and become competent in the use of AutoCAD and gain experience in other design software such as 12d, Civil 3D & Revit.

Key responsibilities of these positions include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of drawings using AutoCAD and other design/drafting software in the field of engineering, projects range from; architecture & interiors, civil infrastructure, transport and water
  • Collaborating with senior team members on various technical tasks and taking guidance in support of your role
  • Developing your knowledge of GHD's Corporate Drafting Manual and other relevant systems, tools and processes
  • Attending TAFE or University and maintaining requirements of a Traineeship or Cadetship, which will include a combination of work-based training and formal training.
