The role of a Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner is to provide high-quality behaviour support services to individuals with complex needs.

We are a globally recognised leader in Constructional Non-Linear Multi-Element Behaviour Support (MEBS). Our expert team delivers effective programs that promote learning and growth for both NDIS participants and self-funded clients.

As a Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will report to the Regional Clinical Manager for South East Melbourne. You will support a caseload of participants, conducting assessments, writing behavioural support plans and programmes, and assisting with their implementation.

You will assist the Regional Clinical Manager with providing clinical supervision and may also support participants with particularly challenging and complex needs. The work is based on the principles of Multi-Element Behaviour Support (MEBS) and Positive Behaviour Support for children and adults in various settings.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with participants and their families.
  • Provide direct behavioural interventions in individual and group sessions.
  • Develop Functional Behavioural Assessments and Behaviour Analysis Support Plans.
  • Support colleagues and caregivers with clinical techniques.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and contribute to team decision-making.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or postgraduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support.
  • NDIS Practitioner ID, NDIS Workers Screening Check, and Working with Children Check.
  • Strong professional experience in Positive Behaviour Support.
  • Demonstrated experience providing clinical expertise, supervision, and leadership.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
