About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Risk and Compliance Specialist to join our Technology Line 1 Risk Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving a positive risk culture across our stakeholders, maintaining strong professional expertise in risk management approaches, and assessing technology, cyber, and data risks and controls.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Drive a positive risk culture across our stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong professional expertise in risk management approaches.
  • Assess technology, cyber, and data risks and controls.
  • Gather and analyse risk reports to identify and understand risks.
  • Manage the remediation of issues and incidents.
  • Undertake reviews of control testing to ensure controls are effectively managing risks.
  • Ensure effective design of controls for all new and changing processes.
  • Represent Technology Risk on the Wrap Transformation Program of work.
  • Provide technology risk advice to the Business.
  • Undertake any other tasks as required.

Your Capability and Experience:

  • 2+ years working in the Financial Services industry.
  • 4+ years' experience in Technology Risk management.
  • An advanced understanding of risk and control environments and frameworks.
  • Able to support and manage a large and varied stakeholder group.
  • Advanced understanding of risk management frameworks and relevant certifications.
  • Ability to analyse trends and recommend actions.
  • Expert advisory capability.
  • Domain knowledge of Technology Risk Engagement and Advisory practices.
  • Proven ability to drive transformational change.
  • Knowledge of industry and global operations best practices.
