Job Title: Workers Compensation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Workers Compensation Specialist to join our team.

  • This role involves managing workers' compensation claims in line with relevant legislation and providing best practice support to injured workers throughout the claims management process.
  • The specialist will maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and develop strategies for improving claims outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the full lifecycle of workers' compensation claims, including liability assessments, injury management, and return-to-work initiatives.
  2. Develop, implement, and maintain Injury Management Plans to support injured workers' recovery.
  3. Regularly communicate with claimants, stakeholders, and other parties involved in the claims process.
  4. Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Evaluate and process workers' compensation invoices and prepare reports on claims data and statistics.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in workers' compensation claims management, return-to-work programs, or injury management.
  • Previous experience in managing workers' compensation claims for a self-insurer or scheme agent, with a strong understanding of the processes.
  • High level of computer literacy and proficiency with relevant claims management software and data systems.
