Job Opportunity: Workers Compensation Specialist
Manage end-to-end workers compensation claims, ensuring alignment with SIRA and legislative requirements. Implement Injury Management Plans (IMPs) that promote effective rehabilitation and return to work.
- Develop strategic plans for injury management and claims processing.
- Liaise regularly with claimants, managers, and external stakeholders to ensure transparent and timely communication.
- Accurately record and update case notes, calculations, and database entries.
- Evaluate and process workers compensation-related invoices in a timely manner.
Essential Skills Include:
- Strong understanding of workers compensation legislation and SIRA guidelines.
- Proven experience in injury management and claims processing, preferably within a self-insurer or scheme agent environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret legislation and apply it to real-world scenarios.
Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
- Allied health background, including physiotherapy, rehab, or psychology.
- RTW Coordinator accreditation and/or experience.
- Proficiency in using SolvInjury or similar systems.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Effective management of workers compensation claims.
- Timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
