Workers Compensation Specialist

This role is responsible for managing workers compensation claims from initiation to closure, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and SIRA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop effective Injury Management Plans (IMPs) that meet the needs of claimants.
- Conduct thorough investigations into work-related injuries, gathering evidence and interviewing claimants and witnesses.
- Liaise regularly with claimants, managers, and external stakeholders to ensure transparent and timely communication.
- Maintain accurate records, including case notes, calculations, and database updates.
- Evaluate and process workers compensation-related invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Strong understanding of workers compensation legislation and SIRA guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience in injury management and claims processing, preferably within a self-insurer or scheme agent environment.
- Proven ability to interpret legislation and apply it to real-world scenarios.
