Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Energy & Resources Team in Adelaide, you'll be responsible for providing technical expertise in mechanical design and collaborating with project managers to ensure timely and effective project delivery.

You'll work on multidisciplinary projects, contributing to business development through technical input in proposals and client interactions. Your experience in design and project delivery in a consulting environment will be invaluable in this role.

As a leader in mechanical engineering tasks within multidisciplinary teams, you'll coordinate with broader teams, lead mechanical engineering components of projects, and mentor junior engineers. You'll foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture, driving real change in the industry.

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • 5-7 years of experience in design and project delivery in a consulting environment
  • Experience across the broader resources sector, including mining and green or brown infrastructure projects
  • Strong client-facing skills and a track record of building lasting relationships
  • Solid understanding of industry standards, procurement processes, and safety in design principles
