Job Role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team.

This role involves delivering full lifecycle EPC projects across various industries, providing exposure to a diverse and growing project portfolio.

As a specialist in the engineering, installation, operation, and maintenance of engine-based power plants, you will be responsible for providing expert technical advice on mechanical design from inception through to project completion.

The Job Responsibilities
  • Lead a Mechanical project design team to carry out multiple projects
  • Provide technical advice on mechanical design, preparation of design and detailed output documents
  • Responsible for the detail design of all mechanical systems and sub-systems
  • Support tender processes and provide basic estimate support
  • Procurement of materials and equipment
  • Customer, contractor and supplier liaison
  • Provide support to testing and commissioning activities
Requirements:
  • Degree qualification in mechanical engineering or mechatronic engineering
  • Senior level of mechanical engineering experience with CPEng certification
  • Mid to Senior level 5+ yrs experience
  • Industrial, heavy industry, power generation or similar experience
  • Natural initiative and problem solving abilities
  • Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team. You will have a strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices, with experience in leading teams and managing projects from start to finish.
