Chief Mechanical Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to fill a key role in our engineering department. This specialist will be responsible for leading mechanical design projects from inception through to completion, including the preparation of detailed output documents.
The successful candidate will possess expertise in technical advice on mechanical design, procurement of materials and equipment, as well as project management skills to lead cross-functional teams.
- Lead multiple mechanical projects concurrently
- Provide expert technical guidance on mechanical design and procurement
- Liaise with customers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery
- Support testing and commissioning activities
Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronic engineering
- Senior level of mechanical engineering experience with CPEng certification
- Mid to senior level 5+ years experience in industrial, heavy industry, power generation or similar field
- Natural initiative and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
