About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the North-West Coast region of Tasmania. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with Paediatricians, Allied Health professionals, and Nurses to provide comprehensive care to children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health issues in children and adolescents
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Conduct research and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices in child mental health
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology approved by the Psychology Board of Australia
  • Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • Current Working with Children Registration
  • Desirable: Area of practice endorsement in Clinical Psychologist, postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology, current driver's licence
