Palliative Care Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Palliative Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Tasmanian Health Service. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality specialist palliative care services to clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert knowledge and advanced clinical framework in the assessment and management of clients referred to the Specialist Palliative Care Service.
- Work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager and other senior staff to ensure the efficient and effective provision of palliative care nursing practice.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of clients and their families.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote best practice in palliative care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Desirable: Holds or is working towards relevant postgraduate qualifications.
- A competitive salary range of $103,466 - $109,165 pro rata per annum.
