About the Role

Total Workfit Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a critical role in assisting injured workers to recover at work and achieve independence at home, in the workplace, and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Workplace Rehabilitation Services
    • Conduct initial needs assessments and workplace assessments to identify rehabilitation goals and objectives
    • Provide advice on job modifications and rehabilitation counseling/vocational assessments to support injured workers in their return-to-work journey
    • Develop and implement rehabilitation plans to promote optimal recovery and return-to-work outcomes
  • Case Management and Liaison
    • Collaborate with medical professionals, stakeholders, and other relevant parties to ensure seamless case management and effective communication
    • Provide support needs assessments and develop strategies to address identified needs
  • Professional Development and Quality Assurance
    • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and research to ensure high-quality rehabilitation services
    • Participate in quality assurance activities to maintain and improve service delivery
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Registration
    • Full registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) or AASW (Australian Association of Social Workers)
  • Skills and Experience
    • Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills
    • A self-starter with a go-getter attitude, taking pride in a job well-done
    • Ability to complete a satisfactory Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
    • Current Australian driver's license and vehicle
    • Willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways
