Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Total Workfit Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering holistic, client-centered services to assist injured workers in their recovery and return to work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive workplace assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks
- Provide expert advice on job modifications and rehabilitation counseling to support injured workers in their recovery
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including employers, insurers, and healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
- Develop and implement effective return-to-work plans to support injured workers in their transition back to the workplace
- Conduct regular progress assessments to monitor the effectiveness of rehabilitation plans and make adjustments as needed
Requirements:
- Full registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) or AASW (Australian Association of Social Workers)
- Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills
- A self-starter with a go-getter attitude, taking pride in a job well-done
- Ability to complete a satisfactory Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
- Current Australian driver's license and vehicle
- Willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways
- The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey
