Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate healthcare for individuals, groups, families, and communities.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals to provide optimum child-centered healthcare.
  • Participate in research and evidence-based practice to maintain and improve the quality of patient/client care.
  • Identify and meet client goals in partnership with clients and their families/significant others.
  • Contribute to the organization's Quality & Safety and Work Health & Safety processes.
About the Team

The Child Health and Parenting Service is the primary provider of Child and Family Health Nursing services to Tasmanian families with children under 5 years old. Our team works in various settings, including clinics, homes, and co-located with other local community services, supported by allied health practitioners, clinical nurse educators, and clinical nurse consultants.
