Job Overview

Maintenance fitters play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing sites.

The maintenance fitter is responsible for maintaining machinery, equipment, and services on site. This includes responding to breakdowns and adhering to preventative maintenance schedules.

Maintenance fitters work closely with the maintenance and production teams to ensure that all aspects of the manufacturing process are running efficiently.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, applicants must have the following qualifications:

  • Be a qualified trade fitter
  • Have a minimum of 5 years experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
  • Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Working Conditions

As a maintenance fitter, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with regular shifts. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in other challenging conditions.

You will also be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to strict safety protocols at all times.
