CNC Machinist Job

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality seals and components.

  • Operating and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality seals and components from materials such as polyurethane, rubber, and plastics.
  • Utilizing your knowledge of seal design engineering to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to create custom solutions.
  • Understanding the unique properties of polyurethane, rubber, and plastics to ensure optimal machining techniques and product quality.
  • Conducting inspections of finished products to ensure they meet strict quality standards and tolerances.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with design engineers and production teams to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and ensure timely delivery of projects. You will also perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and ensure tools and equipment are in excellent working condition.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a machinist, with proficiency in operating CNC and manual machines.
  • Strong understanding of machining polyurethane, rubber, and plastics is desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Relevant trade qualifications in machining or engineering (Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent).
