Service Technician Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Service Technician to support our growing customer base across various industrial sectors. In this mobile and workshop-based role, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing a range of company products, responding to equipment breakdowns, conducting routine maintenance, and assembling goods for sale or repair.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Installing, servicing, and repairing company products
  • Responding to equipment breakdowns and performing troubleshooting
  • Conducting routine maintenance in line with Trade Measurement requirements
  • Travelling to client sites as needed
  • Assembling, testing, and preparing goods for sale or hire
  • Acknowledging service activities using mobile systems
  • Maintaining a clean, professional work area and service vehicle
  • Promoting additional service/sales opportunities through our incentive plan
Key Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Necessary Skills:
  • Mechanical, Electrical, or Electrotechnology trade certificate (preferred)
  • NMI licence (highly desirable) or willingness to obtain
  • Experience in industrial service or electrical/mechanical maintenance
  • Personal Qualities:
  • Positive, self-motivated attitude with strong communication skills
  • Manual driver's licence and ability to travel when required
  • Full working rights in Australia
