About the Role

Hilton Sydney is seeking a highly experienced and ambitious Director of Operations to join our team. As a key leadership role within our region, this position will be responsible for driving the success of our flagship hotel in Sydney's CBD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the hotel's operations, ensuring seamless delivery of our five-star product to guests.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the hotel's performance, including revenue growth and cost control.
  • Collaborate with the hotel's leadership team to achieve business objectives and drive commercial outcomes.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, mentoring, and leadership to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including owners, general managers, and Hilton leadership.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Director of Operations or Hotel General Manager in a high-end hotel environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
