Job Overview:

Are you looking for a challenging opportunity to contribute to the development of advanced manufacturing processes? Do you want to work on creating innovative solutions for semiconductor devices and assemblies? This role offers a chance to collaborate with experienced professionals and make meaningful contributions to our team.

In this position, you will be responsible for supporting process development, manufacturing, materials analysis & definition, production analysis, and process improvement. You will work closely with operations and engineering teams to create and improve assembly processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interface between Operations and Engineering to develop and enhance assembly processes
  • Lead engineering efforts for NPI process development and qualification
  • Conduct in-depth studies to identify opportunities for process enhancements
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards such as IPC600 and others used in semiconductor assembly
  • Create and update process documentation to support manufacturing training
Requirements/Qualifications:Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or related engineering disciplines
  • At least 6 years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Experience with semiconductor die attach and wire bonding processes
  • Proficiency in statistical methods like SPC, Gage R&R, DOE, 5 Why's, 6 Sigma, etc.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask and learn quickly
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience with chip and wire assembly in semiconductor manufacturing
  • Knowledge of Au/Sn, Au/Ge, SAC305 solders, gold wire bonding, and encapsulation materials
  • Experience handling, inspecting, and assembling MMIC devices
  • Knowledge of MIL-PRF-19500 & MIL-PRF-38534 products
  • Experience with PCB assembly per IPC600
Work Environment:

This role requires occasional travel and working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods and perform activities involving stooping, reaching, handling, etc.
