Role Overview

We are seeking a senior professional to provide technical leadership in manufacturing, implement improvements, and optimize efficiency. This role is responsible for providing the first point of contact for manufacturing on yield, quality, and throughput issues.

The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in engineering and at least 3 years of experience in a similar manufacturing role within a highly regulated industry. They will also have experience in working within a Quality Management system.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams.
  • Analyse production problems and develop solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Mentor junior engineers and identify opportunities for safety, quality, and cost improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to the Quality System and relevant regulatory bodies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aeronautical, Biomedical, or Mechatronics).
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar manufacturing role within a highly regulated industry.
  • Experience in working within a Quality Management system.
  • Proven competencies in problem-solving, design, manufacturing/business process development, and personal influence.
