Overview

Senior Process Intelligence Engineer (2-year fixed term) at Illawarra Mercury. Port Kembla manufacturing facility is looking for a Senior Process Intelligence Engineer, initially in a 2-year fixed term contract, in the Digital Transformation team based in Port Kembla. The role focuses on using data to uncover patterns, drive solutions, and transform manufacturing operations across the ASP portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Lead multi-site process intelligence roadmaps, ensuring solutions are replicated quickly and effectively across sites
  • Partner closely with operations and functional teams to set the strategic direction for data governance and data definitions
  • Establish interoperability across tools, datasets, and departments to reduce duplication and break down silos
  • Mentor analysts, champions, and leaders to build local ownership of tools and insights, growing long-term capability and resilience
  • Deliver measurable improvements in yield, quality, safety, and efficiency through actionable insights
Qualifications / What You'll Bring
  • Have tertiary qualifications in engineering, science, information technology or a related field
  • Have deep technical and analytical skills, ideally within manufacturing, process engineering, or data analytics
