Job Summary:

As the Payroll Manager at DT Infrastructure Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role involves managing payroll operations, implementing best practices, and collaborating with the HR and finance teams to support the company's financial objectives and employee satisfaction.

Reporting to the General Manager Project Services, you will also focus on continuous process improvements, safeguarding data integrity, and addressing any payroll-related issues promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies, maintaining a high level of regulatory awareness.
  • Collaborate with the HR and finance teams to streamline processes and support business objectives, driving operational efficiency.
  • Implement and manage payroll systems and procedures, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Address and resolve any payroll-related inquiries or issues, providing exceptional customer service.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field, with a strong foundation in payroll management.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Manager, preferably within the construction or a similar industry, with a track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, laws, and regulations, with the ability to stay up-to-date with changes.
  • Technical skills and software experience, with proficiency in payroll management software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively across departments, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees and stakeholders.
