We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Team Leader to join our team at Holcim. As a key member of our payroll function, you will be responsible for leading a team of payroll professionals in providing a professional and responsive service in accordance with statutory regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the payroll team in processing accurate and timely pay cycles, including weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay runs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environment (SHE) legislation and policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including senior executives, administrative professionals, and operational employees, to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
We are looking for a self-motivated and outcome-orientated leader with a strong background in payroll processing and leadership. You will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, with experience in managing a team and leading change initiatives. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
You will be a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and improvement, with a strong understanding of industrial awards and enterprise agreements. You will also have experience with payroll systems, including Chris21 (iChris), and be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
