About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Support Analyst to join our Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) team in Brisbane.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing requirements, managing engineering data, and designing support products to ensure the best possible outcomes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in engineering teams to influence design and ensure ILS supportability outcomes are incorporated.
  • Contribute to assessments of availability, reliability, maintainability, and testability.
  • Populate and maintain a Logistic Support Analysis Record (LSAR) database.
  • Conduct maintenance task analysis and level of repair analysis (LORA).
  • Determine support and test equipment, packaging, handling, transport, and storage requirements.
  • Align repair and replacement part requirements.
  • Develop provisioning and repair part identification lists.
  • Support the development of lifecycle costing data.
  • Manage, review, and distribute codification data (CDATA).
  • Assist in the development of technical data lists.
  • Prepare integrated logistics plans.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Logistic Support Analysis in an Integrated Logistics Support team in Defence.
  • Strong analysis capabilities of complex technical systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of full-range LSA activities (LSAR, LORA, CDATA, etc.).
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required.
  • Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship).
Desirable Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a similar discipline.
  • Engineering/Maintenance Trade with post-trade experience.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical publications.
  • Material Logistics or short Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) course or other industry equivalent.
  • Defence Maintenance background.
  • Demonstrated experience with eLESPro and other recognised tools.
  • Experience as a Technical Author.
  • Knowledge of the ASDEFCON process.
