Regional Segment Manager Position OverviewAbout This OpportunityThe Regional Segment Manager will oversee the development and execution of market segment go-to-market strategies across APAC, excluding China. This role requires collaboration with various Country Leadership teams to drive strategic development and market share in industry and renewables sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with APAC countries' Country MD and Market Managers to identify business needs, determine key accounts, co-develop actions and timelines, and align resources in support of go-to-market activities.
  • Develop and execute segments and account-specific profitable growth strategies and plans, including generating product value propositions and product positioning.
  • Develop and execute channel plans, work closely with Channel Managers to identify, evaluate, and develop channels for long-term partnership, conduct analysis on channel's activities, and take ownership for problems identified.
  • Establish a deep understanding of customer segments and market dynamics, develop trusted relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executives.
  • Build and monitor pipelines, forecast, and track metrics.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Contribute to an organization that prioritizes safety and integrity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree; Master's degree in business or engineering is highly desired.
  • Minimum 10 years sales experience in the electrical power equipment industry.
  • Proven ability to deliver client-focused solutions to customer needs.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills for both direct and indirect teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills for key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to confront tough issues and contribute to collaborative solutions.
  • Able to juggle multiple account management projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • Flexibility for occasional business travel when required.
