Job Title: Insurance Claims Officer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Insurance Claims Officer to join our team based at our Global Head Office in Essendon Fields.


This role will see you managing end-to-end processes of insurance claims, including initial claim lodgement, settlement, and sourcing claim recovery where applicable. You will also provide claim advice to business partners.


About the Role

This is an instrumental role within our Fleet & Procurement business, responsible for:

  • Accurate, timely and proactive actioning, upload and management of claims, insurance related tasks and other duties as required
  • Management of end-to-end claims within the portfolio to efficient and successful completion
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively between stakeholders, business partners and third parties
  • Provide insurance and claim advice and support to stakeholders and business partners

Key Responsibilities

You will have a high attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to negotiate successful outcomes to achieve positive results. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with internal stakeholders such as Linfox Workshops, Site/Branch Managers, Operations Staff as well as external insurance companies, insurance brokers, repairers and third parties
  • Managing end-to-end claims within the portfolio to efficient and successful completion
  • Providing insurance and claim advice and support to stakeholders and business partners

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A minimum 3 years' experience in Motor Vehicle Claims, Claim Recoveries or Insurance Industry
  • Moderate to advanced skills with full Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel. Experience with SAP would be highly regarded
  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Sound written communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Results orientated, and able to work under pressure
