Accounting Specialist Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to manage insurance claims payments and receivables accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payments for insurance claims, including repairers, assessors, third parties, and hire car companies
  • Coordinate with Claims Officers and Accounts Payable to ensure claims are closed accurately
  • Resolve outstanding payment matters and discrepancies promptly
  • Manage and reconcile payments in SAP and the legacy system
  • Review and upload weekly updates to maintain accurate financial records
  • Notify stakeholders of significant claim payment changes
  • Oversee end-to-end Claim Receivables process within the Insurance Claims Management system and SAP, collaborating with the Claims Team, Claims Officers, AR, and Master Data staff
Requirements:
  • Experience in accounts payable, claims processing, or accounting
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar financial management systems
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions and resolve issues effectively
  • Understanding of insurance claims processes and payment cycles, including AR management
  • Proficiency with legacy systems such as SAP
