Empowering Indigenous Communities

We seek a dedicated Culturally Sensitive Support Practitioner to join our team in Queensland.

As a culturally aware support practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering inclusive and empowering services to Indigenous communities.

About the Role:

  • Provide case management and tailored support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and families.
  • Build strong community partnerships with agencies, carers, and families to create sustainable support networks.
  • Deliver culturally responsive programs that promote healing, resilience, and well-being.

About You:

  • You are an Indigenous Australian person (a genuine occupational requirement).
  • You have a degree qualification in social work, psychology, social science or a related field (or equivalent level of expertise).
  • You have applied knowledge and understanding of child protection and out-of-home care frameworks.
  • You have experience in child protection, community services, or supporting vulnerable children and families.
  • You possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work sensitively with diverse communities.
