Family Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team in supporting children, youth, and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver assessments, crisis support, and therapeutic interventions.
- Develop and evaluate care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Facilitate intake, screening, and placement of children and young people with foster and kinship care families.
- Recruit, assess, and support foster and kinship carers.
- Lead case management planning and maintain accurate client records.
- Relevant degree in social work or related field - or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of child protection, out-of-home care, and relevant legislation.
- Skilled in care assessments and trauma-informed practice.
- Knowledge of challenges faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
