Tasmanian Irrigation Business Developer

Agricultural Appointments is seeking an experienced Irrigation Sales Representative to join their team in Longford, Tasmania.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to drive sales and provide strong customer service. As an Irrigation Sales Representative, you will be responsible for proactive lead generation, customer contact, and liaison with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other parties as necessary.
Responsibilities- Proactively generate leads and establish relationships with clients to drive sales growth.
- Attend to branch customer and sales, service, and project enquiries.
- Liaise with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- A proven track record in irrigation sales, new business development, or a similar agricultural field.
- Strong project management skills and experience in irrigation sales and design within the Tasmanian region (preferred but not essential).
- A passion for driving, delivering, and exceeding new business sales targets.
- Excellent communication, relationship building, and interpersonal skills.
- A valid driver's license and sound computer literacy.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience, targeting $75,000-$85,000 per annum, plus superannuation, vehicle, and an excellent bonus scheme. The role is located in Longford, Tasmania, offering a unique blend of rural charm and professional opportunities.
